On-Air Show Host on JumpStart: Airs Monday-Thursday mornings from 8-10am
Favorite food? Lobster from anywhere near the ocean. I like it fresh!
Favorite color? Sunset orange
Favorite verse? My favorite verse has changed a few times over the years, but right now it is Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrated His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Favorite Resound song? This has changed a lot too…let me think. I’d have to say “Touch the Sky” by Hillsong United. I really like the emotion in it and it seems very honest and pure.
What is your on-air shift called? JumpStart with Ryan and Wren. Wren June is my cohost, and we talk about uplifting things to get peoples’ mornings going. We talk about encouraging spiritual things, and we also talk about fun stuff going on in the community and around campus. The promo says “coffee for your ears” because our show is supposed to be uplifting and energizing for the morning.
How did you get involved with Resound? I just randomly decided to go to one of the meetings in the fall of my sophomore year. I auditioned for on-air, I got it, and I just kept going with Resound!
What else are you involved in at Cedarville? Last semester, I was the IBC’s marketing director and I do intramurals—pretty much everything, all sorts of sports.
Hobbies? I like to hike and play guitar. I like exploring random places out in the middle of nowhere. I also like to climb on top of buildings—it’s a thing people do. I like riding my long board and speed boating. When I’m home in the summer, I like swimming in abandoned quarries.
Life goal? That’s a tough one. Through business, I want to serve people in a way that makes an impact on their lives forever.
Random fact? I’m related to Colonel Sanders, The KFC guy. He’s my great grandma’s cousin.
Advice for blog readers? Be honest about everything, and don’t stress out about things.
Final thoughts? Listen to JumpStart Monday-Thursday mornings from 8-10!
